Definition
Staffordshire Bull Terrier originated from Staffordshire, England, in the mid-19th century. The breed was developed as a bloodline for hunting small game and vermin. Known for their energetic and affectionate nature, Staffies are loyal companions. Their short coats require minimal grooming and come in various colors. Originally bred to "bull" baiting, Staffords have since adapted to family life.
