Definition
Peruvian Hairless Dog has a unique appearance with minimal to no hair. This breed comes in two varieties: hairless and coated. Coated Peruvian Hairless Dogs have soft, thin coats that resemble silk. The coatless version is hypoallergenic and requires regular skin care. Their skeletal structure and body shape are similar to ancient Inca dogs. Their ears and head are covered with wrinkled skin that needs attention. They can be challenging to groom due to their hairless nature. This breed excels in agility, tracking, and herding events naturally. Peruvian Hairless Dogs are energetic and require regular exercise daily. They have a lifespan of 12-15 years, with some living up to 17. Their temperament is friendly, curious, and loving, making them great companions.
